The ultimate wait is over. One Plus 13 initially debuted in October for China users only, now likely to be launched globally in January 2025.
Pete Lau, CEO of One Plus, shared that the company has completed 11 years successfully. In a post from the OnePlus Community, he said, “That’s not all. I’m thrilled to share that in January 2025, we’ll unveil the OnePlus 13, our next flagship. It’s going to be an experience that redefines excellence, and I can’t wait for you to be part of it.”
However, the post didn’t mention the specific release date. The rumor unveiled that the OnePlus 13 will launch on January 5, suggesting the release in the early month.
Interestingly, the OnePlus 13 will be the first device to have Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset with more features. The company has also claimed that the flagship will be available in three colors: Midnight Ocean, Black Eclipse, and Arctic Dawn. Furthermore, Midnight Ocean will be the “first phone to feature micro-fiber vegan leather.”
Additionally, OnePlus confirmed that the smartphones will provide IP68 and IP69 water and dust resistance in order to compete with Apple. The smartphones are equipped with 12 GB RAM and 256 GB storage in Black Eclipse only, as well as 16 GB RAM and 512 GB internal storage in Midnight Ocean and Arctic Dawn.
The CEO also pointed out the agreement with Google, “We’re diving deeper into AI integration within OxygenOS, collaborating with Google…”
Therefore, it’s exciting to experience how the Snapdragon 8 Elite enhance the performance in OnePlus flagship.
