Apple WatchOS 11.2 is Released with Two Major Updates

Apple watchOS 11 2 is released for public

Apple has started the public release of watchOS 11.2, a major software update that runs on the Apple Watch. This update comes after more than one month of watchOS 11.1. The 11.1 operating system also fixed some bugs and added Apple Intelligence features. 

The previous watchOS 11.1 is compatible with iPhone 15 Pro, which includes reduced interruption and summarization features. In addition, Apple intends to improve the software experience and fix security issues. 

According to MacRumors, Apple’s watchOS 11.2 allow users to stop video recording of iPhone using camera remote app.   

“This update includes improvements for your Apple Watch, including:

  • Tides app expands map support for tidal conditions and coastal locations in China 
  • Camera Remote app can pause recording of iPhone video”

However, this watchOS 11.2 update is available for Apple Watch models that support watchOS 11.1 software, including:

  • Apple Watch Series 6
  • Apple Watch SE (2nd generation)
  • Apple Watch Series 7
  • Apple Watch Series 8
  • Apple Watch Series 9
  • Apple Watch Series 10
  • Apple Watch Ultra
  • Apple Watch Ultra 2

Besides this, Apple Watch offers sleep apnea detection available for more countries. Apple Watch uses an accelerometer to analyze small movements at the wrist, which correlate with interruptions in respiratory process. The new Apple Watch matrix to detect sleep apnea is called “Breathing Disturbances.” 

Moreover, Apple said that the user is able to track nightly breathing disturbances and observe monthly or yearly report. After that, concern with doctors are must prevent from risk of hypertension, Type 2 diabetes, and cardiac issues.
